Approaching God in Prayer

This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us—whatever we ask—we know that we have what we asked of Him. (1 John 5:14-15)

He hears you!

Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need. (Hebrews 4:16)

You can be confident that you will receive power and help for your situation directly from God when you pray in the name of Jesus!

When we approach God through prayer, we want to pray Scripture, trusting in the work of the cross of Christ, and believing that God will honor His word. There is nothing impossible with God! When you feel like nothing will change, He can and will make a way where there is no way!

If you have not trusted your life and heart to Jesus Christ, pray right now to receive Him as Lord and Master:

Lord Jesus, I confess that I need You in my life. I confess all my sins to You now and believe that You died for my sins so I can be forgiven, and that You rose from the grave on the third day. I want to be born again through Your Spirit, I receive You as My Lord and Master. Thank You that my sins are forgiven. I commit to walk with You every day of my life. Amen. (Romans 3:10,23; 6:23; 10:9-10)

Also, the prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective. Make sure you are living a repentant lifestyle, obeying His Word, and seeking God for the answers according to His will. Then you will begin to see your prayers answered! (James 5:16; I John 2:3; 5:14-15; Jeremiah 7:23)

I hope to provide you with keys for praying, leading others in prayer, and discipling others to hear the voice of God. Each teaching will provide biblical foundation and Scriptures for study.
